Holiday recovery
Are you getting home from a holiday trip or recovering from a house full of guests?
We drove five hours yesterday. I was forced to do a load of laundry last night so that my son would have a clean pair of jeans to wear to church today. As it was, he woke up sick today so he didn’t need the clean jeans.
The first thing I did this morning was get the washer started again. I don’t like letting laundry pile up this much during cold months because its so hard to get it all dried. I find the dryer is the bottleneck in the laundry process. I’m reminded how much I love hanging clothes out to dry.
We immediately unpacked the suitcase and put things away yesterday. For many years, I procrastinated on putting things away after a trip. We finally decided to just knock it out as soon as we get home. I dislike living out of a suitcase as it is. Its even worse to live out of a suitcase in your own home.
Later last evening, I sat down with my Mom Brain and planned out the week. The next two weeks for us are especially busy. Having a plan is the only way we have a chance of being in the right place at the right time!
